What to bring:

• Sturdy, closed-toed shoes, open-toed shoes will not be allowed.
•                 Medium jacket/long sleeves
•                 Long pants
•                 Sunscreen
• Hat/sunglasses optional for comfort
•                 Camera if you wish

What NOT to bring:

•                 Cigarettes and other smoking material
•                 Open flame
•                 Dogs, cats or other pets
•                 Food or treats for the horses: they are on very specific diets and we want them to stay healthy!

There are no restaurants in Glade Park, please come well-fed

From downtown Grand Junction it is about 25 minutes

Directions can be found on Google Maps, Steadfast Steeds Mustang Sanctuary. For GPS directions, the physical address is 1411 SOUTH 16 ½ Road, Glade Park, CO 81523. The house is coral-pink stucco with green metal roof. Pull into parking lot just north of the house (not house driveway).

When passing through the ranger station of the Colorado National Monument, tell the ranger you are going to Glade Park and you may pass without paying the park fee. If you intend to stop in the park, we recommend the fee be paid; the fine for stopping and not paying is hefty.
